It is just informed from the Ministry of Land and Resources that UNESCO will send experts to make on-site inspection to Alxa Desert Geopark during the period from June 23 to June 27. It is a very important event for our geopark to apply for the GGN membership. The Department of Land and Resources of Inner Mongolia, Alxa government and related organizations pay much attention to this issue, and have done necessary preparation and arrangement for greeting the coming of UNESCO experts. We will provide prompt information about this issue (June 20).
